Philadelphia Rock Gym- Various locations

PRG is an excellent place to get the kids introduced to rock climbing. With plenty of youth programs available—including Kinder Climb for ages 4-5, Kids Climb for ages 6 and up, and Club Team for more advanced youngclimbers—children of all ages can learn how to safelyclimbindoors.

The Cliffs at Callowhill - Philadelphia

Open to both kids and adults, The Cliffs at Callowhill helps youth develop their rock-climbing skills through classes, climbing camps and competitive teams for those who are really serious. Classes are by age range, with the youngest being for kids ages 4 through 6 and the oldest being for teens up to age 17 or 18.Birthday parties are also an option for some celebratory fun.

Tufas Boulder Lounge - Philadelphia

A 12,700-square-foot indoor rock climbing gym on 5th Street in South Kensington, Tufas Boulder Lounge has over 5,500 square feet of climbing terrain for beginners through advanced levels. Summer campfor ages 8 through 14 goes through early August. After-school classes help young climbers gain skills and confidence. And Team Tufas is a monthly commitment for those who wish to take their skills farther.

Doylestown Rock Gym- Doylestown

The Doylestown Rock Gym features over 12,000 feet of indoor rock climbing surfaces, featuring youth rock courses for children ages 2.5 and up. Even the tiniest climbers can enjoy it!Young climbers who want to get serious about the sport can join the Youth Climbing Club for ages6 to 12.

The Gravity Vault - Radnor

In addition to birthday parties, The Gravity Vault in Radnor offers many ways for kids to get involved in climbing. Classes by age group start with the Little Rockers (ages 5-6) and top out at age 13 for more advanced classes, gradually progressing through different skill levels. There are after-school classes, as well as break camps for school breaks, and 5-day rock climbing camps. Those who wish to go further with climbing can join the Junior Climbing Teams (ages 7 through 19). A location in Brick, NJ, also provides similar offerings.

Reach Climbing - Bridgeport

Reach Climbing and Fitness is a full-service rock climbing, yoga, and fitness center minutes from King of Prussia. At Reach Climbing, you'll find over 28,000 square feet of climbing terrain. In addition to Ninja Birthday Parties, kids can participate in school break camps (ages 4 to 12), summer camps (ages 4 to 12), and classes for everyone from beginners to more advanced. Or start out with a lower time commitment with a one-hour introductory session with a trainer. For more advanced climbers who wish to stretch their skills, there are training camps for youth competitors aged 8 to 19.

Downingtown Rock Gym - Downingtown

In a building originally built by Pepperidge Farm, the Downingtown Rock Gym provides some of the tallest indoor climbing in Pennsylvania. Beginners need not worry: youth programs starting at age 5 will ease novices into climbing. In addition to summer camps, private instruction, and a youth climbing team, this location also hosts Kids Night Out for three-hour sessions where kids can have supervised fun and parents can go out on the town or just have a quiet evening.

Spooky Nook Sports offers youth classes, camps, competitive teams, and plenty of birthday party options, too.

Spooky Nook Sports- Manheim

Spooky Nook bills itself as the largest indoor sports complex in America. Contained within is Clip 'N Climb. a first come, first served indoor rock climbing area, where kids can climb over challenging obstacles in the climbing arena. You can book hour-long sessions, and all sessions are limited to 25 climbers per hour. Parents need to stay with children under age 14 to assist with clipping them into the harness. Climbers must be a minimum of 40 pounds to participate. Kids over 4 feet tall can take onextra challenges such as the Stairway to Heaven.

Elite Climbing- Maple Shade, NJ

Elite Climbing offers a variety of rock climbing options for children of all ages, including birthday parties, mini camps, summer camps, classes for scouts, a youth climbing team, and rock climbing games.

Delaware Rock Gym- Bear, DE

This public indoor climbing facility offers roped climbing and bouldering for climbers of all ages and skills. The gym has an array of rock climbing classes and also offers Student Nights, birthday parties, and more.
